How it works
Earn Robux
Sell passes, developer products, private servers or avatar items, or get Creator Rewards. That is your Earned Robux. Robux you bought don’t count.
Reach 30,000
You can cash out once you have at least 30,000 Earned Robux. At the standard rate that is $114.00.
Ask to cash out
On the Creator Hub, open Finances and click Cash Out. You need to be 13 or older, with a verified email, a DevEx portal account and a tax form (W-9 in the U.S., W-8 elsewhere).
Get paid
Roblox checks your request (about 10 business days the first time, about 5 after that), then pays you through the DevEx portal, to your bank or another payout method you pick there.

What is DevEx?
DevEx (Developer Exchange) is the Roblox program that turns Robux you earned into real money. You send a cash-out request on the Creator Hub, Roblox checks it, and then pays you.
How much is 30,000 Robux worth?
$114.00 at the standard rate ($0.0038 per Robux). If it was all earned before September 5, 2025, it is $105.00 ($0.0035). If it all came from U.S. 18+ sales, it is $162.00 ($0.0054).
30,000 is also the minimum you need to cash out.
What is the U.S. 18+ rate?
Since June 8, 2026, Robux from passes, developer products, subscriptions and private servers bought by players in the U.S. who verified they are 18 or older (with a face age check or an ID) cash out at $0.0054 each. Your experience has to qualify: players must use R15 or approved custom characters the whole time, never R6. When you cash out, Roblox shows how much came from each rate.

Why is my payout different from this calculator?
A few reasons. Robux earned before September 5, 2025 cash out first, at the old $0.0035 rate. Roblox reviews every request and can leave out Robux that don't count. If you are paid in another currency, your bank or payout service converts the dollars with its own rate and may charge a fee. And exchange rates move every day.
Do I pay taxes on DevEx money?
Usually, yes: in most countries DevEx money counts as income. Roblox asks for a tax form before paying you (W-9 for U.S. taxpayers, W-8 for everyone else). The rules depend on where you live, so ask a tax professional, or a parent, if you are not sure.
How often can I cash out, and how long does it take?
Once per calendar month. Roblox takes about 10 business days to process your first cash-out and about 5 after that, then your bank may need a few more days.
