Tell your AI
Paste this into your AI app. It installs everything and gives you a code to type in Blender.
Connect yourself to Nighty Blender: read https://nightkilleryt.com/tools/blender/ai-setup.txt and follow it (you may add its MCP server, install its Blender addon and run its pairing command), then tell me the pairing code.Step by step Then ask for a model, like “make a stylized sci-fi gun”.
Ask for a gun, get a Roblox-ready model
- You ask“Make this gun for Roblox”, with a picture or in words.
- A list to pick fromMesh, triangle count, textures, size, engine, quality, views, versions. Good defaults filled in: OK or change any.
- Made on your PCWords become a picture you OK first. Then the 3D model, cleaned up, sharp color borders, your exact count, textures baked.
- Checked and exportedMesh and texture checks pass, then it is saved for your engine.
One job (make_asset): Blender keeps working while it runs, and your AI waits for it.
What it does
Asks first
A short list to pick from before each model: mesh, triangle count, textures, size, engine, quality, views, versions.
Made by local AI
From your picture, or from words as a picture you OK first, to a 3D model on your own PC.
Pick a version
Up to 4 versions side by side in Blender. You pick one; only that one gets finished.
Clean colors
Sharp color borders on generated models: no smeared edges between colors.
Game-ready
The exact triangle count you pick (Roblox: 15,000), textures baked 1K to 4K; exports for Roblox, Unity, Unreal, Godot, glTF or Blender.
Checks before done
Loose parts, holes, normals, UVs and textures are checked before it says finished.
Your options
Before every model, as a list to pick from (or one short question), good defaults filled in.

Fast, Balanced or Max
- Fast
- about 4–5 min · Softer edges, 1K textures. Good for block-outs.
- Balanced Default
- about 8–12 min · The default: sharp details, clean textures.
- Max Experimental
- about 10–25 min · Experimental. Measured on 8–12 GB cards.
From a picture to a finished Roblox asset, measured on an RTX 3060 (12 GB). Each extra version adds about that time again.
What downloads, and when
- The addon
- When you set it up. About 3 MB, from this site, checked by its SHA-256.
- The local AI models
- Once, after you say yes. Your AI shows each file, its license and size first: about 23 GB for Balanced (28 GB on disk), in a folder or drive you pick. Straight from Hugging Face and GitHub, checked, and it picks up again after a cut.
- The views add-on
- Only for Views (4, 6 or 8 pictures of it before 3D), after you say yes. About 10 GB.
- Instant Meshes
- Only for better quads, after you say yes. 1.4 MB, BSD license.
Nothing big downloads without your yes.
Three safety levels
- Tools only
- The AI uses Nighty’s tools, no Python of its own.
- Safe Python Default
- The default. Modelling code only: no files, other programs, internet or settings.
- Full Python
- Any Python, for when you trust it. Save your work first.
You set it in Blender’s Nighty panel. Your AI can’t change it.
How it works
- Your AI appClaude, Codex or another
- Nighty Blender MCPA small program on your PC
- BlenderWith the Nighty addon
All three run on your computer. Blender connects only after you type the pairing code in its Nighty panel, and no web page can reach it.
Honest limits
- A model takes minutes (see above), and the chat uses your AI app’s own usage.
- Models follow the picture: a clear picture of one object on a plain background works best.
- Characters and faces still need your touch.
- Logos and small text go on as decals, not painted by AI.
- The local AI needs an NVIDIA graphics card (8 GB or more works best). Without one: your own 3D-service key.
- Building a model in code, part by part, only when you ask your AI for it.
What you need
- Blender 4.2 or newer Windows, macOS or Linux.
- An AI app with MCP Claude Code, Codex, Claude Desktop, Cursor, VS Code, Gemini CLI, Antigravity and others.
- Node.js 18 or newer Your AI can check it. Claude Desktop brings its own.
- For the local AI An NVIDIA graphics card (8 GB or more works best) and about 28 GB of free space.
The Blender addon
Nighty Blender 1.0.2 for Blender 4.2+ · free software under the GNU GPL 3.0 or later (GPL-3.0-or-later) · 3.1 MB
Your AI installs it for you. By hand: in Blender, Edit → Preferences → Get Extensions → Repositories → + → Add Remote Repository with this address, then install Nighty Blender. Blender then shows its updates.

Get started
Paste the line
Into your AI app. It adds Nighty Blender, installs the addon in Blender and gives you a pairing code.
Type the code in Blender
Press N in the 3D view, open the Nighty tab, turn on Connect AI and type the code.
Ask for a model
Start a new chat in your AI app and say what you want. It asks a few short questions first.
For AI agents: /tools/blender/ai-setup.txt. It uses ports 47871 to 47873 on your computer only.
Questions
Is it free?
Yes. Nighty Blender and its addon are free. You use your own AI app (and its plan), and everything runs on your own computer.
Does my model go anywhere?
No. Your AI app talks to Blender through a small program on your computer (127.0.0.1). Nothing goes through this website. What you tell your AI goes to your AI app, as always.
Can the AI mess up my scene?
Every change it makes is one undo step named “AI: …”, and it can only undo its own. You choose how much Python it may run (tools only, safe or full) in the Nighty panel, and you can turn Connect AI off at any time.
Do I need a strong PC?
For the local AI, an NVIDIA graphics card (8 GB or more works best). Without one, your own 3D-service key works, set in Blender’s Nighty panel.
What downloads?
The addon when you set it up. The local AI models once, only after your AI shows you the plan (each file, its license and size) and you say yes.
Can it build in code instead?
Yes, when you ask for it (“build it in code”). Otherwise every new model comes from the local AI.
Which Blender?
Blender 4.2 or newer, including 5.x. Your AI finds the newest one on your computer and installs the addon there.
